Preparation of the Medium Term Development plan 2014-2017 for Nsaba Area Counci
On Wednesday 11th June 2014, the YLF-Mr Gilbert K Germain joined the Agona East District Assemble in the morning 8:00am to 11:00am for a diagnostic workshop towards the preparation of their Medium Term Development plan 2014-2017 for Nsaba Area Council. However, YLF being the Only NGO that works in the Agona Nsaba Area communities to help collect input problems and solution identified so far with other stakeholders from the Assembly, Health Directorate, Traditional Authorities.
This was done at Agona East District Assembly’s Conference Hall.
AGENDA:
- To identify developmental problems in Nsaba Area Council
- To propose solutions targeted at correcting the problems.
At the end of the meeting YLF and the stakeholders came to consensus for the Assembly to implement the following reconditions in the Assembly’s Medium Term Development plan 2014-2017 for Nsaba Area Council.
- Establishment of the District Hospital.
- Solving the high youth unemployment problems.
- Providing school infrastructure.
- Improving the road networks.
- Improving sanitation.
- Providing a district NHIS office
- Solving the high school drop-out problems
- Preventing post harvest losses
- Extension of the school feeding program
